If you’re anything like me, you think about the menu weeks in advance, change it around about 10 times, then once you prepare for all the items you’ve chosen, you decide on some last minute additions, then your family laughs at you for going crazy on the cooking! I do this every single time I host a brunch/lunch/dinner or anything involving food.
So here are some of my favorites dishes to share with you:
Quinoa-stuffed Red Cabbage Salad – this salad/entrée looks like a party and it tastes amazing (pardon my drooling!)
Roasted Beets, Watercress and Apple Salad – I understand that so many people can’t stand beets, and you might be one of them. This one is worth a try: smooth, crunchy, tangy and absolutely delicious.
Lentil Squash Soup – Can’t really get any healthier than this one, besides it’ll make you feel better when you gorge at the dessert table.
Pistachio-Crusted Lamb in Fig Sauce – You can’t have Christmas dinner without Lamb! This is by far one of the most popular recipes on this blog, absolutely yummy.
Roasted Spaghetti Squash and Chanterelle Confit – well, I dream about this dish. I want to eat it every day, it’s a memorable one.
Lebanese Fruit Cocktail with Ashta – A definite crowd pleaser. You won’t be able to get enough of it. Use seasonal fruits and you’re all set for a party in your mouth.
